Bio
Kay's first book, "Dying to Be Beautiful," earned a Book of the Year award from the American Nurses Association. She currently serves as treasurer of the History of Science Society, an international organization fostering science across the globe. These reflect Kay's interest in history of science and medicine. Her current project is examining how a field formerly identified as female (home economics) can shift its identity to neutral.
