Associate Professor of Management
Bio
Sotak is an Associate Professor of Management at SUNY Oswego with a background in psychology, management and leadership. Statistics and analytics are also among her passions. Sotak has book publications related to statistics, and is currently writing a business statistics textbook with her award-winning co-author, Gregory J. Privitera, with SAGE Publishing.
Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Ladders, FiveThirtyEight and Harvard Business Review. She played soccer in college and I was the first female athlete to sign a professional contract from her school. After graduation, Sotak hopped on a plane, flew to Iceland and played professional soccer for Fjölnir.
Sotak also enjoys running, the outdoors and volunteering at a local dog rescue, Helping Hounds Dog Rescue.
