Faculty sponsors mentor student interns throughout their internship or co-op experience they:
- Review the student registration process for internships and co-ops
- Review internship/co-op course prerequisites and requirements
- Review students' approved site verification form
- Discuss and assist the student in the development of learning objectives
- Determine academic assignments, due dates, and mode of submissions
- Review timesheet hours, site evaluation (discuss and share with student), academic work
- Assign final grade for the experience
