Student Learning and Licensure by Watermark is the College of Education, Health and Human Services’s online data management system for candidate and program assessment. It tracks performance outcomes as identified by Professional Association standards. These include Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (INTASC) standards or National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS), the appropriate New York State Education Department (NYSED) regulations, and the School of Education's Conceptual Framework.
Critical performance tasks, assigned in required courses, are evaluated by faculty and field supervisors. These tasks reflect authentic, research-based professional work and assess key outcomes.
All College of Education, Health and Human Services students must complete specific assignments, assessments, and surveys in SL&L. Students will have access to the system for the duration of their program matriculation.
