Dr. Lamb, an alumna of SUNY Oswego, received her Ph.D. degree from the University of Scranton.  She teaches courses in financial accounting and auditing. She earned her Certified Public Accountant license while working in public accounting at a regional public accounting firm.  Her experience working in audit, tax, and accounting services has proved invaluable to her classroom experience.

Research

Dr. Lamb's research interests include, but are not limited to, accounting education, financial accounting, and auditing - specifically the psychological aspect of auditing.  Her dissertation focused on the effect of social presence on the professional skepticism of auditors in a virtual audit environment.   Along with her co-authors, Dr. Lamb published an article in Strategic Finance in 2022 entitled The SEC's EPS Initiative.  She has numerous projects in progress at the moment.
