Dr. Jinpei Wu received his Ph.D degree from Virginia Tech.  Appointed in 2014, Dr. Wu teaches courses in strategy, entrepreneurship, and organizational behavior. His research interests include strategy, entrepreneurship, and business in China. His papers have been published in such outlets as Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Management Education, and Organizational Research Methods.

Awards and honors

• 2016 Sage Publications/Robert McDonald Advancement of Organizational Research Methodology Award from Academy of Management (AOM), which recognized an article published in the previous five years that made significant impact in the field of research methodology.
• 2023 Lasting Impact Award from the Management and Organizational Behavior Teaching Society (MOBTS) and Sage Publications, which recognized an article published in JME at least ten years prior that continued to have a significant impact on management education or educators.
