CURRENT RESEARCH INTERESTS/PROJECTS
I am a 3-time nationally award-winning author and best-selling author of two statistics texts, having published multiple textbook editions across major markets in psychology, business, education, statistics, and methodology, in addition to professional books, book chapters, and bibliographic contributions in fields of health, health care, analytics, and behavioral science. My texts are adopted across psychology, business, education, and law at over 300 institutions worldwide, including Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, University of Pennsylvania, and, of course, Bona's. My books are published by Sage, Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, and more.
My research is highly cross-disciplinary and collaborative, bridging knowledge creation across business and psychology fields in the health and healthcare space, with my research work being routinely published in the peer-review and in the press to include Oprah’s Magazine, The Huffington Post, Time Magazine, and the Wall Street Journal. I embrace a faculty-mentored research model, having mentored dozens of student research and capstone projects with over 3 dozen students publishing peer-reviewed papers under my advisement, and over 5 dozen students presenting at regional and national academic conferences. My career goals prioritize continued professional development and growth.

In the community,
I serve on the Board of Directors for the Center for Women in Healthcare and Life Sciences (WIHLS): a global, non-profit, non-partisan research institute to advance opportunities for women in healthcare and life science industries; based in Chicago, IL.
I serve on the Board of Directors for the Olean General Hospital Foundation: a regional non-profit with a mission to generate ongoing philanthropic support for Olean General Hospital's continued development and growth; Olean, NY.
I serve as regional co-coordinator for Toys-for Tots: a national not-for-profit program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve – collects and distributes toys to children and families in need during the holiday season.
I am a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and an identical twin – my twin brother is a veteran as well [Sergeant Major, U.S. Army, retired], and now owns and operates a Chick-fil-a restaurant here in the Western New York region. My wife and I live in "ski country" near Ellicottville, NY, with our sons, Aiden Andrew and Luca James, and our daughters, Grace Ann, and Charlotte Jane.
