Dr. Edwards is an Assistant Professor of Management at the State University of New York at Oswego.  She holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Higher Educational Administration & Policy Studies, and a B.A. in English. Her research interests include Work-readiness and the development of student employability skills; Entrepreneurship Education across the African Diaspora; and Change Management relative to shifting demographics and distinct immigration patterns.  

Research
Dr. Edwards research interests are three-fold. Work-readiness continues to be an important topic for business and academic leaders as it remains a major challenge to economic development, nationally and globally. 

Specialty areas include cultivating strategic business-academic alliances; exploring active learning mechanisms; and student engagement.
Additional research interests include: i) Exploring the Link Between Cultural Heritage and Entrepreneurship within Emerging Markets; and ii) Change Management
