Marybeth Sorendo earned a BFA in Ceramics at Kent State University and a MA in studio art at New York University in Venice. Marybeth teaches at the Art Association of Oswego and Salmon River Fine Arts with focus on creating utilitarian objects for everyday life. A recent exhibition (May 2023) of clay sculpture at the Art Association of Oswego reflects a concern for environmental damage, practicing mindfulness with attention to textures and color, and allowing patterns of urban dwelling to filter into a new series of wall tiles.
