Emma Rathe is the Manager of Programs and Exhibition Production at the George Eastman Museum in Rochester, New York. Rathe is the co-director of the Eastman Museum’s community gallery, Gallery Obscura. She is passionate about engaging with the Rochester community and making museums accessible and inviting spaces for everyone. Rathe graduated from Syracuse University in 2021 with her M.A. in Museum Studies, and from SUNY Oswego in 2016 with her B.A. in Cinema and Screen Studies.
