Artist Statement

I have always been interested in art throughout my education, and very early on in high school, I decided that I wanted to pursue a career with art. Much of my work is inspired and influenced by nature and fantasy.

I try to create work that realistically depicts the subject to create a visual representation of what is in our world or to create imagery to bring things like creatures from fantasy to life. The style of my work tends to change as I explore new techniques and continue to grow as an artist. I like to develop my skills in many different media types, such as traditional drawing, watercolor, screen printing, and digital illustration.
