Artist Statement
Starting at a young age, I found myself very passionate about the Arts. As I grew older, I realized I wanted to become a professional artist where I can create artwork that is visually appealing and sparks emotion/interest to viewers.
The artwork in my exhibit highlights my passion for branding/logo design, as well as digital and traditional illustrations. My inspiration for the Branding of the Tangled Vine Winery comes from an interest in wine and the process of winemaking; for years, my family would make their wine at home in the cellar. I intended for my work to showcase the professional side of what a brand/logo should be to attract customers to want to visit The Tangled Vine Winery. The inspiration for my Illustrations comes from my recent sketches that reflect the internal struggles I am going through with anxiety as well as moving away to a new state. The Illustration pieces are to express emotion & mood to the viewer and feel they can relate to the work in some way. Hopefully, my art exhibited inspires others to be passionate and create art based on this creativity.
