Artist Statement
My mother was a professional photographer, and my father was a musician, so needless to say, creativity has been a part of my life since birth. I started working with traditional drawing and photography in high school, and gradually progressed to vector graphics and digital illustrations later on.
It wasn’t until college that my artwork began to adopt a definitive style, mainly focusing on steampunk imagery, surreal animals, and tattoo-style design work.
My artwork is often a reflection of my interest in music, nature, and protecting animals. I want my art to challenge how destructive humanity is, while at the same time evoke empathy from the viewer.
