Artist Statement

My art has always been a way for me to both express and reflect, and so much of my art pieces are self-portraits. These pieces allow me to process my feelings as well as my self-image, whether the medium is through graphite, watercolor, acrylic, or mixed media. These different mediums allow me to explore and express different feelings and emotions. In my art, I've found confidence in how I view myself, both physically and mentally. My work isn't limited to self-portraits, but even in those artworks, I still manage to include pieces of myself, my feelings, and my views.
