Artist Statement
Experimenting with different types of media is something that I love to do. To explore and learn a new craft, going through the ups and downs, really makes my work more interesting. I have always had an affinity for the arts, and took some classes at an early age. When I graduated, I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life; I had moved back to the United States and was unsure what to do. I originally wanted to pursue a career in biology, thinking I could involve art some way later on. When discussing my plans with my family, my mother encouraged me to go for a career in art. After researching some of the different fields and branches in art, I chose to go with Graphic Design. The encouragement from my family is something I feel grateful for every single day, and such, my family is one of the primary sources of inspiration in my work.
