Biography

Hanna Battaglini is a Graphic Designer from Long Island, NY. She will be graduating in Spring 2021 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design with a Minor in Illustration. Her passion for Graphic Design started in High school when she took a class that sparked her interest. Over the last four years of college, her work has transformed into a range of different styles and interests, including Branding, Packing, and Illustration. After graduation, she hopes to continue as a Graphic Designer and pursue it in her future endeavors.

Artist Statement

As a designer, I am always inspired to create. Even from a young age, I was intrigued by anything hands-on to let my creativity flow no matter what it was. I always knew that art was something I wanted to pursue as a career and Graphic Design filled all my interests. I don't find myself stuck to a specific style in my work. I like to explore all styles and let my inspiration for each project come as I create. That's what I love most about Graphic Design, the endless possibilities. One project can reflect my minimalist side focused on clean lines and simple composition, while other projects portray my bold side, creating more organic, free-flowing, and bright designs. I believe this comes from my love for Graphic Design as well as Illustration. The combination of these skills leaves me with endless possibilities.

This is a mock up of Skinny Pop Popcorn rebranded. In this image there is a box showing the front and back. On the front is the new Skinny Pop logo, which is pink green and blue. The box is white with little outlines of popcorn shapes throughout the design. In addition there are nutrition facts and other illustrations that describe SkinnyPop popcorn.

This animation is of an ice cream cone going through 3 different stations. The ice cream is being pushed on a conveyor belt and at each station a new topping is added. Station one is pink ice cream, station two is green yellow and red sprinkles, station 3 is a cherry on top. After it goes through the animation loops back to the beginning. 
 

This illustration is of two girls sitting on a bench, next to them are two big waves. One wave is red with the covid symbols in them and one is a blue wave with masks floating around.
