Biography

Erika Dollmann is an upcoming Graphic Designer from Long Island, NY. She blends her love of illustration, photography, and typography to create a wide variety of artwork.

She is often inspired by renowned graphic designers, as well as her passion for travel. She enjoys creating images traditionally as well as digitally; therefore, she does not feel limited by what she can create.

Erika's work has been shown in various art shows in Tyler hall, including Inktober and the 57th Juried Student Exhibition. Upon graduating from SUNY Oswego with a BFA, she hopes to find work in or around New York City creating various posters, brochures, etc. for a company.

Artist Statement

Art is something that has always come naturally to me, but it was not until my sophomore year of college at SUNY Oswego that I discovered my passion for Graphic Design. I prefer to think of myself as a generalist since my work spans across various mediums, including but not limited to traditional illustration, photography, digital illustration, and recently animation.

My pieces connect to nature and tie to my own experiences. I find gratification in creating art with a purpose and have significantly grown as an artist and individual over the past four years. I hope to keep learning and never stop developing my artistic skills.
