Biography

Elizabeth Miller is from Rome, NY, and previously attended Mohawk Valley Community College for her Associate's Degree in Fine Arts. She has experience in all mediums, but her favorites are illustration and ceramics. She graduates SUNY Oswego with Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. She plans to continue her education to earn a Master's degree in art education with the goal of becoming a K-12 art teacher. She loves working with children and would like to be able to bring her skills and knowledge into the classroom.

Artist Statement

Starting at a young age, I found myself very passionate about the Arts, and throughout my artistic career, I have been lucky enough to work with multiple mediums. I have always felt drawn to traditional work. Still, it was not until Oswego that I found out about my love of illustration and ceramics. The art I am presenting is a combination of personal and classwork. The range of work and various techniques I have learned through traditional art, digital art, and ceramic art influences my work ultimately. It allows me to create a broader range of work and show my diversity as an artist.
