Biography

Dawson Rieman is a graphic designer from Buffalo, New York. After learning Adobe Illustrator in high school, he quickly fell in love with creating digital art. At SUNY Oswego, Dawson became interested in graphic design and eventually discovered his love for animation. He enjoys bringing his illustrations to life with motion. After graduation, Dawson hopes to get a job somewhere in New York doing graphic design. While in the field, he wants to continue pursuing his interest in illustration and motion graphics. 

Artist Statement

Throughout my studies in art, my interest has expanded beyond just graphic design. I would classify myself as a generalist because of my passion for graphic design, illustration, printmaking, and animation. Learning so many different mediums and techniques has caused me to want to add as many tools to my kit in terms of styles and media as I can. My two main artistic styles involve using flat shapes of color with gradients or heavily using pattern and texture.
