Endowment for Pre-Service Technology Educators

The John and Judith Belt Endowment for Pre-Service Technology Educator Development

The Belts established this fund to assist pre-service technology education candidates in their journey to become educators in the future. Specifically, this fund is to support students' needs beyond those covered by financial aid. The fund will be administered by the Department of Technology Chair’s Office and is to be used for any tangible or intangible needs not covered by other funding sources.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be declared Technology Education majors.

Support Details

Funds will provide support for professional growth as identified through an application process, including travel to interviews, assistance with certification costs, minimal assistance with the cost of professional clothing for field placement experiences, etc. Limits, determined by the department, for the number and/or amounts of support for any one candidate or group of candidates will also be part of the application process provided by the department.
