We are so excited for our Laker parents, friends, and family supporters to join us for our first Spring Family & Friends Weekend this year from April 17th - 19th, 2026!
With the winter months starting to fade, it's time to celebrate our Lakers and their supporters! Join us for a weekend full of fun and family, and get to know the local Oswego area and SUNY Oswego campus better!
Throughout the weekend we have a variety of activities planned, including art exhibitions, musical performances, athletic and social events, and opportunities to explore the local Oswego area.

Friday, April 17th
4:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Family Fitness Hours (Cooper/Glimmerglass Fitness Centers)
Kick off the weekend by getting your steps in! Our fitness centers will be open to student and their families during this time.
4:00 PM - 7:00 PM - Open Pool (Lee Hall)
Lee Hall Pool will be open to students and their supporters looking to celebrate the start of Spring with a swim!
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM - Student Leadership Awards (Hewitt Ballroom)
Come help us celebrate some of the students who have been doing amazing work at SUNY Oswego this year!
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM - Hip Hop/R&B Trivia (MCC Food Court)
Test your knowledge of some of the most iconic singers, songwriters, musicians, and albums of one of the greatest music genres! Does your crew have the know-how to win?
7:30 PM - 9:30 PM - All Shook Up! (Waterman Theatre)
The SUNY Oswego Theatre Department will be performing All Shook Up!, a show inspired by and featuring some of the most famous works of Elvis Presley!
8:00 PM - 9:30 PM - Candy Bar Bingo (MCC Food Court)
Join us for a classic game of Bingo! There will be some sweet prizes for our Bingo winners!
9:00 PM - 11:00 PM - Movie Night (MCC Auditorium - 132)
Hang out, cozy up, and wind down for the evening during our Movie Night!
Saturday, April 18th
WNYO will be hosting a 24-hour Vinylthon!
Vinylthon is an annual event put on by the College Radio Foundation. College radio stations are encouraged to play music from vinyl for up to 24 hours straight! You can find more information about Vinylthon here.
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM - FAFSA/TAP Workshop (MCC 202 & 206)
Filling out federal financial aid forms can feel like navigating a maze. If you've ever wanted a guide through the federal aid process, make sure to come to our FAFSA/Tap Workshops, where we'll have experts who can help answer your questions!
9:00 AM - 8:00 PM - Family Fitness Hours (Cooper/Glimmerglass Fitness Center)

9:30 AM - 10:45 AM - Birdwatching for Science (Rice Creek Field Station)
We'll provide shuttle services to Rice Creek Field Station so you can hear some of the first birdsongs of Spring.
11:00 AM - 12:30 PM - Guided Nature Walk (Rice Creek Field Station)
Once the birdwatching is over, we'll have some guided nature walks so you can enjoy the fresh air and everything else nature has to offer!
11:00 AM - 2:00 PM - Spring Supporter Festival (Hewitt Garden/Ballroom)
Come have some fun with other students and supporters with some time dedicated just to you!
12:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Open Pool (Lee Hall)
Lee Hall Pool will be open to students and their supporters looking to celebrate the start of Spring with a swim!
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM - Chemistry Club: Interactive Chemistry! (Shineman 106)
Our Chemistry students will be putting all the fun of science on display! Join us to see some of the amazing things chemistry can do!
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM - All Shook Up! (Waterman Theatre)

We'll bring the skates, you bring the fun! We'll have two hours of rollerskating and music for the whole family. Skates will be provided, all you need to do is show up!
8:00 PM - 11:00 PM - Video Game Night (E Sports Room - Hewitt Hall 026)
Nothing says "competition" like video games! Challenge your friends and family to some of your favorite games!
9:00 PM - 10:30 PM - Comedian (Sheldon Ballroom)
We'll have comedian Ben Frank here to help you wrap up the day with laughter!
