It is with mixed emotions that I share some personnel-related news with you all: Mary Canale, our esteemed vice president for university advancement, will retire on Dec. 31, 2024, after 28 years of unwavering dedication and service to the university.

President Peter O. Nwosu announced his Vision 4040 during his inaugural State of the University address on Sept. 28, 2023. Vision 4040 positions SUNY Oswego to offer the promise of higher education and its benefits to increasing numbers of students. This initiative has the potential to bring greater opportunity to the residents of Central New York and beyond, as well as foster deeper ties to the University.
