Charlene Assam earned a BS in Accounting and MBA in Public Accounting from SUNY Oswego and is now a senior associate with PwC as well as a certified public accountant and full-time Youtuber. Recently based out of Atlanta, Charlene is the face behind TheMigrantHope, a platform that serves as “connectors” for young black professionals. She is extremely passionate about the racial wealth gap in the United States and has created and organized sold-out events in New York City focused on sparking conversations. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, speaking at events, filming and spending time with family.

  2. Start improving LinkedIn Profile - headshot, summary, work, education, and volunteer experiences, custom URL
  3. Connect with at least five people on LinkedIn, to include at least one SUNY Oswego alumni
  4. Find 3 opportunities (internships, jobs, volunteer, club roles, etc) that interest you
  5. Secure two recommendations for profile
  6. Integrate examples of work into portfolio (rich media, etc)
  7. Join at least two professional associations or learning groups related to your career goals/interests
  8. Complete at least one LinkedIn Learning course related to your career goals/interests
