  1. Watch/listen to Informational Interview with Amber Lennon-Harmon '10 about elevating your professional brand
  2. Start improving your LinkedIn Profile - headshot, summary, work, education, and volunteer experiences, custom URL
  3. Connect with at least five people on LinkedIn, to include at least one SUNY Oswego alumni
  4. Secure two recommendations for your LinkedIn profile
  5. Integrate examples of work into a portfolio (rich media, etc)
  6. Join at least two professional associations or learning groups related to your career goals/interests
  7. Complete at least one LinkedIn Learning course related to your career goals/interests
  8. Follow 5 companies, influencers or industry-focused groups that you are interested in
  9. Work your way through this great handout on Indeed.com resources!
  10. Start your profile on the Upwork platform
  11. Conduct research into typical starting salaries for your anticipated career field and geographic location
