Michael Mullen is a Visiting Assistant Professor for the Department of Health Promotion and Wellness. He holds his M.S. in Human Services Counseling from SUNY Oswego and his B.S. in Economics from Syracuse University. Michael has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of New York for 13 years and has worked with a variety of clients. Previously, Michael worked for the Educational Opportunity Program at SUNY Oswego as an Academic Planning Counselor and was an adjunct professor for the Counseling and Psychological Services Department for 20 years. His areas of expertise are mental and emotional wellness, identity, personal strategic planning (goal setting and habits), and interpersonal communication. Michael has coached basketball at the college, high school and youth levels for over 30 years and is also the co-author of Naughty No More: A Workbook for Children Who Want to Make Good Decisions.
