Bio
Jason Zenor (JD/MPA University of South Dakota) is an Associate Professor in the School of Communication, Media and the Arts where he teaches undergraduate and graduate communication courses in law, politics and argumentation. His research interests focus on communication law and policy, media and politics, and First Amendment rights, with over two dozen publications appearing in academic journals and law reviews. He has taught courses for the state bars of New York, Florida and Colorado. He regularly presents at the annual conferences for the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication and the National Communication Association, where he has earned several top-paper awards. In 2021, he was awarded an NCA Distinguished Publication Award in Communication and the Law.
