Ulises A. Mejias

Ulises A. Mejias is a professor of Communication Studies at SUNY Oswego, recipient of the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activities, and a Fulbright Specialist from 2021 to 2025. He is the a co-founder of the network Tierra Común, and serves on the Board of Directors of Humanities New York, a National Endowment for the Humanities affiliate. A widely cited author on topics including how "big data" uses personal information, Mejias is an in-demand expert on this and related tpoics for a wide range of international media.
