Ryan is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the SUNY Oswego Department of Computer Science. With a background in media arts and academic leadership, his projects and community-oriented initiatives focus on skills development in empathy and active listening. Prior to coming to Oswego, Ryan was the Director of Digital Education running the Computer & Information Science Department at the Manlius Pebble Hill School and was an Assistant Professor of Visual Communications at Cazenovia College. Residing in Syracuse, NY, he compulsively reads comics and pulp fiction, listens to media industry interviews, and repairs retro coin-op machines for his business, The Skill Shot Pinball Arcade & Event Space
