I am a Professor, Researcher, Executive Leader, and leadership development advocate committed to preparing ethical, competent, and results-oriented leaders. My career combines more than 20 years of international leadership experience with teaching, research, consulting, and organizational transformation.
I hold a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Marketing) from Kennesaw State University in Georgia, an MBA from Georgia Southwestern State University, and a bachelor’s degree in quantitative economics from the University of Kinshasa (DRCongo).
Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, my journey has taken me across continents, industries, boardrooms, and classrooms. I have held executive and senior leadership roles in marketing, sales, general management and finance, contributing to market expansion and Brand strategy for global companies including DHL Express, British American Tobacco, Heineken, Airtel, and Tigo. My roles have included Managing Director, Regional Manager, and Marketing & Commercial Head, giving me firsthand experience with the opportunities and challenges of leading people, brands, and organizations across diverse markets.
Teaching is the most rewarding dimension of my professional journey. I believe education should go beyond transmitting knowledge. It should develop critical thinkers, ethical leaders, effective communicators, and confident problem-solvers who are prepared to create meaningful impact in their organizations and communities.
In my classroom, students do more than learn frameworks; they apply them. They analyze real-world challenges, make decisions, collaborate, present ideas, and learn to think strategically.
My goal is simple: help students think like strategists, act like experts, communicate like Leaders, and turn knowledge into action.
I view research as a tool for understanding and improving the world around us. My research focuses on how digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and the post-pandemic “new normal” are reshaping marketing strategy, sales effectiveness, leadership, consumer behavior, and organizational performance.
As both a scholar and practitioner, I seek to produce research that not only advances academic knowledge but also helps organizations perform better, leaders make better decisions, and individuals thrive.
Through my teaching, research, consulting, and leadership activities, one principle remains constant: business is ultimately about people, their value, voice, potential, and vision.
Beyond teaching, research, and business, I am a proud father of eight, a guitarist, and a sports enthusiast with a particular passion for wrestling, judo, soccer, MMA, and boxing. Whether on the mat, on the field, in a jam session, in the classroom, or around the boardroom table, I value the same qualities: discipline, resilience, continuous learning, teamwork, and the pursuit of excellence.
I am also deeply committed to community service and leadership development because I believe professional success carries a responsibility to uplift others.
