David Runge is an Academic Success Advisor in the Advisement Center serving first-year and transfer students in Computer Science (Software Engineering and Information Science), Cognitive Science, Mathematics (Applied Mathematics and Applied Mathematical Economics) and Electrical and Computer Engineering majors. David is also an alum, having earned his BA and M.S. Ed. from SUNY Oswego. In addition to supporting the students above, David also serves as a Transfer Success Advisor, supporting Transfer Students throughout their first semester as they join our institution.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and trying new foods, and enjoying all of the beauty that the city of Oswego and Lake Ontario has to offer. He is also a fan of Dungeons and Dragons, and welcomes anyone to his office to discuss some of the finer points of the game and argue rules interpretations.
