Academic Foundation
Oswego’s academic foundation is built around ensuring students gain a breadth of knowledge by focusing on arts and sciences, global awareness, and human diversity as well as a focus on fundamental skills such as writing, critical thinking and computer literacy—which is needed for lifelong success.
Our supportive faculty help students form the knowledge and skills necessary to support their career and life goals. We give students many opportunities to participate in applied learning activities such as internships, research, and civic engagement.
