
Grain Testing and Analysis Laboratories
The SUNY Oswego Ag Lab provides affordable grain testing and analysis to the agricultural sector using sophisticated and approved USDA instruments and test kits.
We provide the following analysis:
• Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (moisture, protein, fat, and starch content in
whole grains and flours) -we have 15 calibrations, please inquire.
• Falling Number Analysis for Wheat (sprouting assessment)
• Fungal Contamination Analysis (vomitoxin/DON and aflatoxin)
• Standard Agricultural Grading (foreign material, test weight, moisture)

Mycotoxin Testing for soybeans, corn, wheat, or barley (DON/vomitoxin) | $30 |
Falling Number for wheat (milling and testing) | $20 |
NIR Testing for whole corn, soybeans, wheat, or barley grain (moisture, protein, and oil, if available) | $15 |
Standard Agriculture Grading (foreign material, test weight, moisture) | $10 |
Mail or deliver a minimum of 500g of grain sample in a Ziploc bag
with a check payable to SUNY Oswego to the following address:

Results will be emailed within 48 hours of receipt. Please inquire
