Overview

The Spanish for First Responders Microcredential prepares professionals with the language skills necessary to communicate effectively in Spanish in law enforcement and criminal justice contexts at the intermediate level. This program focuses on key language and communication skills, including strategies for interviews and investigations. It also prepares students to develop an understanding of the cultures of the Spanish-speaking population of their local communities. This program is ideal for first responders and other professionals working in law enforcement or criminal justice who wish to enhance their ability to communicate in the Spanish language in their professional interactions.
