Research
Helen Lee is a developmental psychologist with expertise in the social-emotional development of children, particularly those with special needs and disabilities. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), she has worked with families and children with autism in both home and school settings. Her research broadly focuses on how biological mechanisms and social factors contribute to children's self-regulation and executive functioning. In her translational work, she aims to develop innovative assessments and interventions that support children’s developmental needs, with a focus on creating inclusive, effective approaches for all children.
