Business Administration at Syracuse BS

Complete your business degree in Syracuse through SUNY Oswego’s Business Administration, B.S., a flexible bachelor’s completion program designed for transfer students, returning students and working adults. Build practical skills in management, accounting, marketing, finance, business law and organizational leadership while earning a SUNY Oswego degree close to where you live and work. If you have an associate degree or significant transfer credit and want a path to career advancement in business, this program can help you move forward without putting the rest of your life on hold.

Overview

Business Administration gives you a broad foundation in the core areas that shape how organizations work. You’ll study management, accounting, marketing, organization, business law and finance while learning how to analyze problems, communicate clearly and make informed decisions. The Syracuse Campus format is designed for students who are balancing school with work, family and other responsibilities.

Courses help you connect business concepts to real workplace situations and prepare for opportunities in management, operations, sales, marketing, finance, human resources, entrepreneurship and graduate study. Students may also use electives or areas of interest to strengthen their preparation in fields such as organizational leadership, financial services, international management or related areas.

Curriculum

Because this Syracuse-based program is designed as a completion degree for transfer students, we recommend connecting with an academic planning coordinator before you apply. Your coordinator can help review your previous credits, explain degree requirements and determine whether Business Administration is the right path for your goals. This planning step is especially helpful for students returning to college, transferring from a community college or balancing school with work and family responsibilities.
