BHI graduates showcase advanced expertise in health information technology and health informatics, emphasizing data analytics, artificial intelligence and systems integration, safety, security practices. Graduates foster relationships with leading health care businesses in the area and have opportunities to work with organizations such as Upstate Medical Center, MedTech, Welch Allyn and the Veterans Health Administration through internships and research projects to build experience and a professional network.
The Health Informatics accreditor of the State University of New York at Oswego is the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). The College’s accreditation for the Master’s degree in Biomedical and Health Informatics has been reaffirmed through 2031–2032.
