Rodrick Andrews brings 20 years of higher education and enrollment experience to his position of Assistant Vice President for Admissions and Financial Aid. In this role, Andrews assists in the development, implementation, and assessment of enrollment strategies for undergraduate students and for maintaining contact with prospective students, applicants and admitted students. He works closely with all Admissions and Financial Aid staff, Registrar, Academic Affairs, and Student Affairs personnel, as well as with faculty, alumni, current students, advisors, staff and community members in support of the recruitment and retention of students at SUNY Oswego.
Prior to joining SUNY Oswego in 2019, Andrews served as Director of Financial Aid at the University of North Florida where he oversaw financial aid operations, outreach, and scholarships. He has also worked at the following institutions over his career; Florida State University, Florida State College at Jacksonville, and the University of North Florida. He received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Auburn University and his master’s in Education Management from Strayer University. He is currently working on his Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Change at SUNY Empire State College.
