J. Mitchell Fields has spent over 30 years doing facilities management and capital renewal at public and private sector colleges and universities. He has been with SUNY Oswego since 2012.
Before coming to SUNY Oswego, Fields worked at the State University Construction Fund in Albany. Across his SUNY career, he has led nearly $28 billion in capital facilities renewal across the system. He completed a professional degree in Architecture from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas after earning an associate’s degree in Civil Engineering from Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, N.Y.
