The Division of Extended Learning helps provide access to higher education at all levels of the educational pipeline (primary school, high school, traditional, & non-traditional aged), to expand horizons and further develop students toward their highest potential. As Dean for the Division of Extended Learning at SUNY Oswego, Pippin oversees the Summer and Winter Sessions, Instructional Design services, Online and Distance Learning Degrees, Evening & Part Time Degrees, Adult & Non Traditional Student Advisement, High School Concurrent Enrollment, English for Academic Purposes, Intensive English, Testing & Proctoring, Veteran & Military Services, Non Credit Professional Development, Contract Training, Youth Programs as well as the SUNY Oswego Syracuse Branch Campus. The division also offers microcredentials (credit and noncredit) and coordinates the Integrative Professional Studies degree programs for adult and nontraditional students. 

Prior to joining SUNY Oswego in 2014, Pippin worked as Dean for Continuing Education and was a member of the senior academic leadership team at SUNY Jefferson Community College. She taught business and professional foundations courses at Franklin University and SUNY Jefferson Community College for 11 years and worked in numerous private sector roles. She earned an educational doctorate in Executive Leadership from St John Fisher University, a master’s in Business Administration from Franklin University, and a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies (Interpersonal) from SUNY Oswego.
