College Council Member
Fulton, NY
SUNY Oswego Class of 1973
Christine Patrick has been retired from the Oswego County Department of Social Services since 2017 after 25 years of service. Prior to her retirement, she served as the Director of Services. This position entailed overseeing the budget and staff of approximately 100 who investigated, litigated and serviced cases of child abuse and neglect. Christine is proud to say she was a key proponent in the transition to off-site technology for line staff. Before being named Director, she was a division supervisor.
Christine earned her BS in Secondary Education from SUNY Oswego in 1973 and obtained 30 graduate hours thereafter. She has worked in both the Oswego and Fulton school districts on a part-time basis.
Christine believes in volunteering and giving back to her community. Currently, she is a member of the board of directors of Towpath Towers, senior citizen housing in Fulton. She is also a commissioner for the Fulton Fire and Police Commission. Previously Christine served on the Fulton Public Library Board of Directors.
Christine is married and is the mother of two grown children who reside out of state. Her stepdaughter resides locally. We enjoy traveling and visiting with our children and four grandchildren.
