Stress Free Week offers variety of programs

The return of Goat Yoga is among the highlights of Stress Free Week, March 2 to 6.

Student Engagement and Leadership, Campus Recreation, the Office of the Dean of Students, and Student Orientation and Family Engagement present a variety of events for Stress Free Week, March 2 to 6. This week of programs is designed to help students relieve stress and have fun in the lead-up to midterms.

Upcoming events include:

  • Tuesday, March 3: Goat Yoga from 6 to 8 p.m., first-come, first-served for each yoga class, limited to 50 students per class; there will be three classes offered and a free flow session, all in Swetman Gym
  • Wednesday, March 4: Stress Free Make and Takes, offering a zen afternoon with stress-free make and take items, fruit-infused water, and a raffle basket from 1 to 3 p.m. in 133 Marano Campus Center
  • Thursday, March 5: Stress Free Open Skate (sponsored by the Dean of Students), free to all students, 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Deborah F. Stanley Arena and Convocation Hall
  • Friday, March 6: Late Night Study Break, a campus favorite filling the Marano Campus Center with activities such as silent disco, pop-up game show, food, a henna tattoo artist and much more from 8 to 10 p.m.

Organizers offered a special thank-you to the Auxiliary Services team for providing food and beverages for some of the above events.
