Oswego Abroad to host open house on Aug. 28
Many SUNY Oswego students have enriched their academic experience through study abroad, including participants in the Summer 2026 Q4 Tanzania: Biodiversity and Conservation course.
The Office of International Education and Programs is delighted to host this year's Oswego Abroad Open House on from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, in rooms 100 to 116 of Sheldon Hall.
The department hub allows students, faculty, and staff to connect and explore global options. Whether you are looking to fulfill major requirements abroad, secure an international internship or develop a faculty-led program, this Open House can serve as a gateway to the world.
Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the department and meet mentors, speaking directly with the coordinators who can help guide their journeys.
They can also discover SUNY Oswego’s diverse study abroad paths, including faculty-led courses, summer, winter, semester, academic year and international internship programs.
The session also allows attendees to find their ideal opportunity by glimpsing global learning opportunities tailored for different majors and minors, spanning across the globe.
Attendees also can learn about immersing themselves in global experiences both overseas and through international initiatives on campus.
The open house also includes information on how to navigate the education abroad portal, open an application and hear about upcoming deadlines for future terms.
No RSVP is needed, and the office welcomes the campus to discover a world of opportunity on Aug. 28.
