Students looking for a job, internship or volunteer opportunity that fits into their class schedule can learn more at the Office of Experiential Learning's Fall 2026 Campus Opportunities Expo from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14.

The Marano Campus Center Wiley Concourse will feature many campus offices, departments and programs students can connect with to learn more about internships, student employment, work-study, service-learning and volunteer opportunities.

These opportunities are flexible with students’ class schedules, eliminate potential transportation barriers and help build relationships with campus faculty and staff.

International students also do not have to apply for CPT with on-campus opportunities, removing a major barrier to accessing opportunities.

“Expo is a great way to recruit our office’s promotion intern,” said Ally Schultz, the early experiential learning coordinator in the Office of Experiential Learning. “I always look forward to meeting students who are excited and motivated by all the opportunities our campus has to offer.”

Departments in attendance will include include Campus Events and Conference Services, Rice Creek Field Station, ARTSwego, Admissions, Marketing and Communcations, Student Engagement and Leadership, College of Business and Entrepreneurship, and many more.

For students interested in public service, the Empire State Service Corps will share information about joining next year's cohort, in which you can do paid public service work either on campus or at a community-based host site. This can count towards internship credit as well.

Organizers said there are opportunities for everyone at the Campus Opportunities Expo, and can be a first step toward gaining experience for your future careers.
