Buses, Bikes and Good Vibes transportation event has successful rollout
On Monday Sept. 28, the Office of the Dean of Students held its first ever Buses, Bikes and Good Vibes event to promote using the Centro bus system and bike safety on campus, enjoying a healthy turnout and opportunities for education.
Taking place in parking lot E-31 from noon to 4 p.m., the event's partners included SUNY Oswego University Police, Oswego County Transportation, SUNY Oswego Box Office, Mobility Management, SUNY Oswego Sustainability Office and Centro.
The event gave the opportunity for students to get their Centro bus sticker, complete a bike/scooter obstacle course and just have a good time learning about various transportation options on campus.
Organizers thank campus and community partners for making this event fun and educational, as well as Walmart of Fulton for their generous bike donations to campus. They also offer congratulations to student Eadon Holley, winner of one of the bikes. Organizers look forward to hosting this event each year to support safe transportation on our campus.
