Students and families interested in exploring their futures at SUNY Oswego are invited to join the university’s Apply for Free period, running Oct. 12 to Nov. 2.
By visiting oswego.edu/free during that time, future Lakers can have their application fee waived for the SUNY and Common App, removing one more barrier toward accessing college.
For families weighing the value of a college education, SUNY Oswego’s graduate outcomes show where that experience can lead.
According to the university’s most recent Graduate Outcomes report, 96 percent of Class of 2025 respondents reported being employed, continuing their education or both. Among graduates working full time, 94 percent reported working in their field of choice.
Those outcomes reflect SUNY Oswego’s commitment to connecting an accessible public education with meaningful career opportunities while preparing graduates to contribute to communities across the region and state.
This timeframe precedes an opportunity to explore the campus in person via a Fall Open House on Nov. 11, featuring tours, presentations and opportunities to connect with students and faculty. Beyond that, opportunities exist every week for those interested in the Laker experience to visit and tour campus (see oswego.edu/visit for more information).
