With today (Nov. 3) marking Election Day, a couple of reminders from Vote Oswego, the university's long-running nonpartisan voter engagement initiative:
Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., and students who are registered at their campus address will vote at the nearby Newman Center (36 New St.). Volunteers from Vote Oswego will escort voters to the Newman Center on Tuesday afternoon from 1:30 to 6 p.m. Just look for the Vote Oswego table in Marano Campus Center.
For students still registered to vote at an address back home, absentee ballots must by marked by no later than today, Tuesday, Nov. 3. Vote Oswego will collect and mail absentee ballots to ensure they are received on time to be counted. You can drop your ballot off to them on today between 1:30 and 4 p.m. at their table in Marano Campus Center.
Voters can access answers to frequently asked questions, find their off-campus polling location, research their ballot and more on Vote Oswego's website, voteoswego.com.
