Repositories

A "repository" is a place where things are stored - in this case, our various digital collections! Here are the repositories we use, and what you can find in each of them.

  • New York Heritage Digital Collections

This repository contains two collections: the Ontarian (our yearbooks), and Millard Fillmore's papers.

  • New York State Historic Newspapers

This site contains historic newspapers from all over the state. Our contributions include the Oswegonian (the student paper), as well as the Palladium-Times (which has had a few different names over the years).

  • SUNY Open Access Repository (SOAR)

This repository contains faculty, staff, and student works. All items in this repository are open access. Open access, or OA, means that content is available to all, without any cost. A lot of faculty research, in particular, can only be accessed through expensive subscriptions paid for by libraries.

Learn more about open access and submitting to SOAR.

  • SUNY Digital Repository (SDR)

This repository contains the majority of our digital collections, including photographs, Student Association minutes, and more.
