Intercultural and Global Competency

The Microcredential will showcase a student's understanding, knowledge, and skill set relative to Global and intercultural competencies demonstrated through a combination of curricular courses and co-curricular experiences, activities, and events.

Courses

The students will have to submit a combination of 4 credit courses from the world awareness/global engagement and/or world awareness general education  approved course list (1 will have to be a foreign language and students will have to have a 3.0 or more in each course) 

On top of the courses, students will have to submit a combination of 3 credit or noncredit international/ multicultural experiences ( Internships/Co-op, Study Abroad....), a combination of 2 non-credit multicultural programs/events (ALANA, Global ArtsOswego, IGE Cultural Event...)and 1 Quest or Global Engagement Conference presentation.  A total of 10 areas towards the badge.
