Location

Nestled along the shimmering shores of Lake Ontario, SUNY Oswego’s picturesque 700-acre campus beckons to visitors from far and wide. Conveniently located close to major cities such as Syracuse, Buffalo, Albany, and even New York City, Oswego offers a variety of cultural and recreational adventures. Whether you're drawn to the allure of the lake's gentle waves, the vibrant energy of urban exploration, or the rich history woven into the fabric of Upstate New York, our campus serves as the perfect starting point for an unforgettable journey. 

Located on U.S. Route 104, just west of the city of Oswego, the GPS address for the campus is 7060 NY 104, Oswego, NY 13126.

Traveling to Oswego

For out-of-town visitors, the William F. Walsh Regional Transportation Center (RTC) in Syracuse connects with bus, rail, and air transportation.

By Bus

Visit Centro’s website for local and regional bus routes including connections between SUNY Oswego and Syracuse's William F. Walsh Regional Transportation Center (RTC). The RTC hosts inter-city bus service from Greyhound and Trailways, both of which offer student discounts.

By Train

Amtrak also runs trains to the William F. Walsh Regional Transportation Center (RTC) in Syracuse. Schedules, tickets and information can be found on the Amtrak website or by calling 1-800-USA-RAIL (1-800-872-7245). Amtrak offers student fares and other discounts.

By Plane

The Syracuse Hancock International Airport is located about 35 miles away from SUNY Oswego. Although there is no direct public transport from the airport to Oswego, Syracuse’s William F. Walsh Regional Transportation Center (RTC) offers Centro bus connections. Alternatively, travelers may secure a rental car, taxi or rideshare service from the airport.

For guests visiting campus, parking is available in the lots listed below. Parking is available for persons with special medical needs in every parking lot. Those with a valid handicapped permit may park in any numbered lot in addition to designated Handicapped parking.
