Competency Microcredential

Overview

This microcredential provides a focused foundation in leadership and supervisory practice for new and aspiring supervisors in human services settings. Designed as a competency-based program, it builds skills in conflict navigation, work and project management, and personal and professional goal setting through real workplace examples. Organized in two tiers — Self and Relationship Management and Supervisory Skill Development — coursework supports the development of effective supervisory knowledge and skills.

This credential was developed specifically as contract training for employees of the Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) and is an example of the customized training that can be developed for your organization.
